To maintain the sleek design of the home, we worked closely with the designer and architect to devise a solution for the motorized shades. The window casings were ingeniously designed to conceal these shades, offering whisper-quiet operation, and eliminating visual clutter when not in use. This ensured the interior design remained uninterrupted while offering the convenience of automated lighting control.
The family room presented a unique challenge: delivering high-fidelity sound without large, intrusive speakers that could disrupt the room’s décor. Our solution was the installation of a ducted subwoofer system. By placing the subwoofer driver in the crawl space and channeling the low-end frequencies through ducts to a discrete outlet under a bookshelf, the room maintained its aesthetic appeal while offering a full audio experience.
Another ambitious aspect of the project was to provide connectivity to a detached studio located by the pool. We implemented a fiber optic line that ran from the main house to the studio, ensuring high-speed internet and reliable network connectivity. This extension allows the homeowners to stream music, participate in remote video calls, and control smart equipment seamlessly from the studio.
To enhance the outdoor area around the pool, we installed an outdoor audio and Wi-Fi system. This allows the homeowners to stream music throughout the outdoor spaces, creating an ambiance perfect for relaxing or entertaining guests. The state-of-the-art in television mounts were implemented to house and conceal source equipment behind each TV. This approach allowed equipment to be easily accessible, yet discreetly hidden, optimizing space and maintaining the cabins' charm.
Discreet, streamlined speakers were installed in television viewing areas to provide a simple yet high-quality audio experience. Additionally, distributed audio systems were set up to deliver rich sound throughout each cabin, eliminating the need for bulky equipment.
Low-profile Samsung Frame televisions with dual functionality were chosen for the cabins. These screens serve as traditional televisions when in use and display beautiful artwork when turned off, enhancing the interior design and offering aesthetic versatility for guests.

The existing home automation system was upgraded to Crestron Home, introducing new interfaces and vastly expanded capabilities. Impressively, this upgrade was accomplished while reusing 90% of the original hardware, allowing resources to be allocated elsewhere throughout the project.
Fiber optic lines were run to a bunker beneath the pool cabana, providing Wi-Fi exterior spaces and wired connectivity to the pool control systems. This setup allows for remote monitoring and control of the pool systems, simplifying the work of maintenance and care.

In 2021, the Twisted Pair Media facilities underwent a significant renovation to serve a dual purpose as both an office space for our team and a state-of-the-art experience center. The renovation aimed to create an environment that showcases our latest offerings and solutions while supporting the operational needs of our team.
Designing a multifunctional space that could both inspire as a showroom and function efficiently as an office was the primary challenge. The space also needed to include modern solutions for testing and demonstrating state-of-the-art technologies.
The showroom features a Samsung 114" MicroLED display, known for its large format, infinite black levels, and high brightness output. This display has an extremely low profile with no visible bezel, providing a sleek and modern look that enhances visual demonstrations.
Ketra and DMF lighting systems were installed throughout the space and are fully automated using the latest Lutron platform. These systems allow for dynamic lighting scenes, seamless automation, and infinite versatility.
The facility includes both Lutron and Palladiom keypad options, allowing us to demonstrate varied control interfaces and their applications in different settings, providing clients with personalized control options.
A Future Automation motorized mounting solution is on display, illustrating our capability to integrate advanced automation technologies seamlessly into the living environment.
Sonance Invisible speakers and James Small Aperture speakers are integrated into the design, offering a full-spectrum, hi-fidelity audio experience while highlighting our expertise in creating immersive sound environments without compromising aesthetic integrity.

We used James Small Aperture speakers with custom wood grilles through the salon and kitchen spaces. These speakers were designed to perfectly match the footprint of the recessed lighting and blend with the wood ceilings, maintaining the aesthetic unity and design elegance of the home’s interior.
A Samsung Terrace outdoor television was installed on the covered porch, with audio routed through in-ceiling speakers. This setup ensured superior sound quality and preserved the porch's serene ambiance by avoiding the use of built-in TV speakers.

Infratech heaters were installed on the porches, and are controlled with a Lutron system. This integration facilitates simple operation and includes automatic shutdown through custom scenes, enhancing safety, energy efficiency and user convenience.

The goal was to meet specific client requirements for displaying a sculpture collection, optimizing media experiences, and providing comprehensive outdoor entertainment.
The primary challenge was to effectively illuminate the client's extensive sculpture collection while ensuring easy control via programmable scenes. Additionally, installing large TVs with custom soundbars required precise coordination with architects and designers. Integrating audio across various outdoor and recreational spaces also necessitated solutions that maintained a discreet presence.
We worked closely with a local lighting designer to implement a lighting plan that highlights the sculpture collection effectively. We implemented a modern Lutron system that was programmed to provide easily accessible scenes for illuminating the sculptures throughout the home, ensuring the designer's vision was realized.
Above each fireplace, we installed large televisions accompanied by custom James soundbars. Through close collaboration with architects and designers, we ensured that the TV and speaker setup was seamlessly recessed for a sleek, uniform appearance.
James landscape audio solutions were implemented to create a consistent sound environment in the outdoor seating and putting green spaces. The audio equipment was inconspicuously integrated into the landscape to blend with the surroundings.
Multiple TVs were installed in the golf simulator, allowing the client and guests to watch several events at once. This setup includes modern in-ceiling speakers and a remote control system, enabling easy selection of audio from any television for a flexible viewing experience.
We equipped the home with large Lutron shades, characterized by their nearly silent motors. These shades offer privacy from the exterior surroundings and protect furnishings from the sun without compromising the peaceful atmosphere.
